Camp Highlight

WALT: write our highlights about camp.

Today as we were learning the people who went to camp had to answer questions about how we have changed in a good way.My reflection will be about how we all had fun with each other for 4 days and 3 nights. While we were having fun we also learnt facts about ourselves that we didnt even know. It was also fun because I and my friends have built a closer relationship and I have also made new friends with people I didn't know I things in common with them.

Diamond Poetry

Camp Reflection

Monday 28th November 2016

Before Camp

Camp was on Tuesday 22nd November to Friday 25 November. But before camp on Monday I was really nervous because I had no idea on how camp was going to turn out. I also did not have that much confidence inside of me and I did not bond with my friends that much. In my point of view before camp I felt like it will be boring and I wont have time to have and hang out with my friends as I usually hang out with them. I also thought that it would be all about learning but like writing on books all the time. Here is what I thought that camp was going to be all about.

What people think about me????

Today in learning we my class decided to make a poster and write 5 things about myself. Once we have finished doing that we then had to go around write something about that person. In my poster some people thought that i was intelligent smart and much more. Here is a photo of my poster.The photo is showed on how people thought about me.

Guy fawkes!

This is our group presentation that shows, the questions we came up with as a class, and answered in groups, pairs or even individually. I worked in a group of 3-4 people, we came up with interesting questions, along with exclusive answers. The main purpose of our research was to ask questions, and find answers based on Guy Fawkes, and Fireworks.. But mainly Guy Fawkes. In the presentation, provided for the specific audience to view.. there are questions based, and about Guy Fawkes being arrested, and also just facts about himself, and his past! Have you ever, thought about why the celebration of Guy Fawkes, or Fireworks, are important? Well if you would like to read about this.

What makes tamaki special?

WALT reflect on what makes tamaki special.

Today in class we were talking about makes our school tamaki special.

Here is what I think about how special tamaki is.

• They use their creativity into their work.
• We learn how to respect and use our manners better.
• We always help the special needs facility
• Tamaki always  try to use their values towards their learning and their outside learning.
• Lastly tamaki works like a family we help each other when they need help.

Here is what I think about how tamaki can be a better place

Today we had our first basketball lesson today. It was fun because we got to practise our dribbling, passes and our shooting.Once we finished practising our techniques, the coaches fought that it would be nice if their would be a competition Girls VS Boys. Unfortunately the boys won the basketball competition and I sadly didn't get to join in the game.Here are some photos of the basketball session.

Holiday Poem

😇Family Reunion😇

As I walked in, family crowd around  me squeezing me as I can’t breathe.

Aaahhhhh! Children screaming while getting chased for their lives.

The kids smile so hard that their smile is brighter than the sun.

Adults absolutely tired from doing all the amazing things they have done.

The food staring at me as it waits to be eaten.

Feeling relieved that my cousin got a huge amount of money to go back with to TONGA.

Kids inspired by what their parents are doing.

CRASH!!!!! The kids dropped a plate.

Being lucky that no one got hurt. Depressed because we had to
leave.

Food Technology

Today I was in the food technology, we got to make fruit salad, our ingredients was apricots, bananas, apple, oranges, kiwifruit and grapes as our fruit and also yoghurt. We had to cut all the fruits into pieces than we had to put the the  fruits into a bowl with warm water. After we did that, we had to than pour out the water out of the bowl. Once we did that we ad to pour the yoghurt into the fruits and mix that. Once we mix it together it formed onto a delicious fruit salad.

Kiwi Can Reflection

Monday 19th August 2016

Today Rm 9 & 10 went to kiwi can together because we wanted to have a long time watching the movie, we had to pick 1 movie out of 6, here are some of the movies we could watch Don't bully, Wreck it Ralph, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Cloudy with a chance of meatball, Antman and 2 other movies that I have sadly forgotten. The movie that most people chose was Wreck it Ralph. We were so excited to watch wreck it ralph. When we were watching it, the class went quiet.
