International Olympics - Doping

International Olympics

What is doping?
Doping is when someone uses drugs to cheat in a race.
Drugs is a type of pills & liquid that will play your body. Your body will change and feel weird. If the IOC find out that the athletes have cheated then they will fail the test, even if you did not come a place.
How do athletes get caught cheating?
Athletes get caught by taking a test of their blood or their pee. If their pee or  blood turn green after they unfreeze it then that means that they used drugs to cheat.
What are the consequences of cheating at the olympics?
The consequences for the athletes who cheats are
  • Getting disqualified
  • Medals/Achievements stripped off
  • May or may not get banned

What do you think? What leads athletes of cheat?
My opinion is that I think that the athletes cheat because they want to break the world record and also they want to be known for having great ability. The reason why they want to be known is because they want the world to talk about how they are very talented at the sports they love doing.

I think that determination leads to cheating is not true because people like Usain Bolt, he always tries his best and comes first without doping or using drugs.Even like Valerie Adams, she always comes a place even if she doesn't cheat or use drugs.

Today for reading we have learned about how the olympic athletes are cheating.

Thank you for reading.
